Hi

We've been waiting patiently for some feedback, and unless we ask when we meet you we haven't received much. So if you've read the book or even got stuck on chapter two we'd like to hear what you think of it. Is it helpful? A waste of money? Let's have your concerns, your constructive criticism and your praise as you see fit. Can I suggest you direct it to the Discussion forum and get some dialogue going. Thanks Mark for opening up the discussion.

Terrific! Thanks Dale - we certainly find it useful. I've just been using it for knowledge sharing across institutions in Lima, Peru.

Dale, care to share your comments as a review on Amazon to encourage others?

Geoff.. I LOVE the book! This should be in every business architect/consultant's "toolkit".. techniques are practical, scalable across small and large group interventions and useable in many circumstances, language in the book is easy to understand and jargon free, examples of use do a good job in clarifying application AND offering reusable content. It's a great .. extention / application .. of a maturity model. AND I can see an interesting application of this to assess team convergence / divergence - once the "group" comes up with the categories/scale, each participant individually assesses both current / desired state, AND also identifies what they think the group thinks. Then compare in a whole group setting. This could be a very interesting activity across a management team. Bravo to you and Chris for a great book.

A great read for the practitioner. It is particularly insightful as to the process for effective self assessment and indetifying learnings. It also gives useful pointers as to how to turn identified learnings into leassons learnt. I will get more value from the book as I look to apply the river diagram to my own discipline.
